One of the biggest problems a business faces in these tough times is bad debts. The longer amounts are owing normally means the less likely you will be paid at all so anything that helps you get the money in quickly is really worth looking at. Evopos has very good debtors control system with some unique features. Evopos is a complete Dealer Management System for Motorcycle Dealers that does a lot more than stock control and accounts, it helps you keep control of nearly every part of your business in practical and time saving ways. The heart of controlling debtors is the Debtors Control. From one simple screen you can produce a multitude of relevant reports (Aged debtors, Statements, Copy invoices etc) and easily browse through customer that owe money with all the information ready to hand, great for chasing up as you can view and make notes linked to each customer as you go. It is easy to filter the list for example: just the main Trade accounts, just the casual accounts, just the 60 day over-dues etc.

One very popular aspect is the emailing features as it saves time and money as well as being 'Green'. A lot of other systems allow you to email invoices and statements but Evopos goes way further in making the whole process more controllable and automated. For example on each Customer you can set a credit limit, default credit terms (7 day, 30 day, ??th of the following month etc), how they would like to receive their Invoices / Statements (Email, Post etc) and Overdue control method (Admin charge, Admin & Interest, No Charges etc). This means you can do a one click Statement run and the system will automatically add any charges and email the statements where the customer is set to Email and print the others.

Another unique Evopos feature is our 'Debtor Rating' for each customer. Basically the way that this works is the system adds a point for every day each dollar is overdue and reduces a point for every day each dollar is paid early. Eg: an overdue invoice of 750.00 would increase points by 750 each day it is overdue. If they pay an invoice for 750.00 two days early it would reduce the rating by 1500. If anyone goes over a set number of points they would be put on stop. They would then have to pay immediately for each invoice (will be recorded as an early payment if they have a credit period) until their rating was back to zero. A Debtor Rating of Zero (or negative) would be a really good rating and we could show and congratulate customers on their good rating.

Customer orders can also cause problems if you do not have a good system of controlling them. Evopos makes it easy access and to know the latest price on items you do not have in stock so we can take full payment at the time of order. Evopos can even SMS or Email the customer when all their parts have arrived.
